Semiconductor materials

Solid materials can be categorized into three classes: conductors, semiconductors and insulators. Depending on temperatures, the above listed may become superconductors.

Different materials have different levels of conductivity. Where glass has a relatively low conductivity, aluminum has a high conductivity.
